Australian Rally

The nature of sports is such that even when you don't expect much to happen, you get a nice denial.

Good riddance for a lying cheating so-and-so. He has only to blame himself. The sport and his ego is not bigger than the countries rules

Dr. Seuss,
The only problem with your “logic” is that France, Spain, Britain and the USA agree with Australia, so Djokovic will either have to get fully vaccinated, which will take several months, or must remain an outcast. You see, the world has more important issues e.g. erasing Covid-19, rather than making exceptions for a Prima Donna.

Whatever. No one cares about Australia Open in the Gulag Down Under. Everybody can see through the propaganda and knows Covid is a premeditated psyop with totalitarianism as the end goal.

Congrats to Djokovic for taking a stand against unconstitutional mandates and tyranny.

Both can be true. I agree about Novak, but also think it's important for Serbs to show well regardless. He's young and can inspire even younger generations of Serbs who might succeed in something special one day. Bravo Miœa. Taking down Gael would be a huge victory.

The winner of the Australian Open will always be nagged by the fact they achieved it because of the absence of Djokovic and more so if Nadal wins.

Interesting to note that Roger Federer, who is loved and protected by the western media is silent – very interesting. Nadal on the other hand said in a few words Djokovic was the master of his own downfall. He will remember his lack of judgment for the rest of his life, as the say act in haste repent in leisure.
How did it play out? First the Australian media intimated Djokovic just arrived with no visa. Then came the case of his paper work was incomplete. Remember the whole time it was all about not being vaccinated and health issues associated with that.
Then the coup de grace a he was a "negligible" risk of spreading Covid-19 to others, but could stoke "anti-vaccination sentiment".
In other words, it was an outright government lie. Then there is the Australian Open management which said as little as possible to save their skin. This was political.
Alexander Zverev said after Ugo Humbert tested positive that he believed more players would be confirmed positive if the tournament had a tighter testing regime.
“I think quite a few players had it when they arrived. Quite a few players I think have it now. We are not getting tested”.
The 2022 Australian Open is a total failure despite glowing words to the contrary from the Australian media. Will it ever recover? I have my doubts.
